Siegmund Pfingsten – Nature Guide – Germany

Siegmund has been active in wildlife-watching since 1985. The very special salt marsh islands (the “Halligen”) in the North-Frisian Wadden Sea (part of the “Nationalpark Schleswig-Holsteinisches Wattenmeer”) is his main operation area and region of interest. With his tour company “Naturerlebnisse” he is supporting the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea national park as a “Nationalparkpartner”.

  Siegmund offers nature-experiences in the entire international Wadden Sea area from Den Helder in the Netherlands til Esbjerg in Denmark. In addition he offers nature tours in 14 European countries, with focal destinations in Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. A special highlight he offers regularly is the observation of cranes at the main sites of their migration-route in Europe from Sweden via the Baltic countries and Germany to Spain.

 His offers are remarkable. He always explores his destinations on site with his clients himself by cooperating with local organizations and guides.  He likes to cross borders following birds on their migration. His motto is: We link the support of habitat-protection in connection with bird-watching, nature-experience and photo-journeys – having the spirit of wilderness in our minds.
