The May-edition of the SEVENSEAS magazine features this time the LT&C-Example Chumbe Island Coral Park (see pages 80-87). Once again the small team of Giacomo Abrusci came out with a fascinating and informative magazine on marine conservation and travel, stunning pictures included. The photographs of the Chumbe Island chapter are taken by Ulli Kloiber, the Conservation and Education Manager of the Chumbe Island Coral Park. The LT&C-Example will also be looked at during the Blue Solutions Africa Forum in the beginning of June and will be visited thereafter by an LT&C-study tour delegation.
SEVENSEAS is celebrating May 17th in Washington DC its first anniversary. 12 issues of the marine conservation and travel magazine have been produced for readers in 159 countries. More than 5000 have subscribed and 10 000 visitors per month have clicked through the colourful pages. And the numbers are growing. The magazine is a project in partnership with and sponsored by The Ocean Foundation.
