LT&C’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, 23 April, on Hallig Langeness island in Germany.
2023 will be an important year for LT&C. The finalisation of our merger with Ecological Tourism in Europe (Ö.T.E.), a growing focus on the role of tourism to provide nature-positive solutions to the biodiversity and climate crises, and the historic agreement at COP15 to adopt the global goal of protecting 30% of the planet’s land and sea by 2030 will provide us with a platform to expand our network and promote our LT&C Examples.
This year we have the opportunity to host our AGM during the East Atlantic Flyway Week, at the best time and location to witness the spring migration of coastal birds.
The week brings together conservation and ecotourism professionals to take part in seminars and discussions on protected areas along the flyway route, with a focus on the role of tourism.
Our AGM will take place at the same venue.
Date: Sunday, 23 April 2023
Time: 14:00-16:00
Location: Seminar House, Schutzstation Wattenmeer, Peterswarf, Hallig Langeness, Germany
It will also be streamed online: a meeting link and agenda will be provided closer to the date.
